Chlorine dioxide system Beluga - system technology
Process water circuits of open recooling plants are usually a perfect habitat for microorganisms. For this reason, the use of biocides for the treatment of process water has proven its worth. In addition, the 42nd BImSchV requires hygienically safe operation of open cooling circuits. In addition to the use of ready-to-dose treatment products, systems for the in situ generation of chlorine dioxide have also proven their worth. Chlorine dioxide is an oxidizing compound that effectively combats microorganisms in the process water without resistant microorganisms being able to form. Depending on the process, conventional systems generate chlorine dioxide from different reactants in a reactor that is located directly in the atmosphere. Complex measurement technology is necessary
Nevertheless, escaping chlorine gas can lead to serious accidents at work.
In contrast to conventional systems, the Weidner Wassertechnik Beluga reactor has the significant advantage that the reactor is submerged in the service water circuit. The chemical reaction to generate the chlorine dioxide from two special reactants always takes place below the water surface and harmful liquids or gases cannot escape into the environment.
This process was developed by Weidner Wassertechnik and has been patented since 2015.
In addition to the reactor, the Beluga chlorine dioxide system consists of two dosing systems for dosing the educts into the reactor and a microprocessor control system, which allows the process to be flexibly controlled and monitored. With the well-known modular principle of the expansion modules, the systems can be expanded or specialized at your request.
What we offer:
